They're not exactly Salon's greatest fans, though, so I guess it's not unexpected!

Wonkette, unlike Salon, manages to be snarky and glib without somehow ever being stupid.

I'm relieved that there are other cranks out there who care a little too much about how irritating Salon has become. I was an avid Salon reader for years, but the Clinton-Obama coverage convinced me to cancel my subscription in February, and I haven't been back since.
What really irked me was the ongoing Joan Walsh meme that people who voted for HRC were "voting with their heads" while Obama voters were "voting with their hearts." Jesus -- how insulting can you be?
My head didn't tell me to vote for a cynical, corrupt, triangulating, warmongering, dynastic, deeply condescending and wooden candidate who is despised by half of the country and is totally unelectable. Nor am I "guided by my heart" to support a charismatic liberal who will energize the progressive base, bring new voters out to the poll, and help bring votes to down-ticket candidates in closely-contested red state elections.
Ah. See. I'm ranting. Anyway, I'm sad that Salon has become so irksome. All of the Obama hit pieces. The TV-news-grade punditry. Maybe a new editor would help.
Edit: out to the polls. Polls, plural.
Well speaking for myself, I vote with my head, and may Salon's subscriptions numbers, slip deep into the red. I find it to be little more than a gossip and entertainment rag, and Walsh's opinion pieces are an always reliable out of touch drag.
